NOTE: Until all the presenter positions are full, I will not be signing up any veterans to attend presentations. As veterans, you MUST present at least once this quarter to fulfill your requirements.

For presentations: You will need to check out the FAST-Mag projector from the FAST-MAG office on Gayley (1072 Gayley Ave) the day of your presentation. Evelyn can be reached at (310) 794-0600. You can also ask to speak with Anjani for the checkout process. YOU MUST RETURN THE PROJECTOR AFTER THE PRESENTATION!!! W08 ER Shifts and Workshops

WINTER 08 ER SHIFTS AND WORKSHOPS

Hi Stroke Forcers! I just wanted to wish you all a Happy New Year! I hope every one of you enjoyed winter break. Now it's time to get back into the swing of things.

Welcome new students! Just as a reminder to everyone and clarification to the new students:

Please sign up for two 3-hour ER shifts and 4 workshops for new students (2 workshops for veteran students who have already presented). Once everyone has signed up for the minimum requirement of ER shifts and workshops, we will be taking more sign-ups.

To sign up for workshops and ER shifts, please e-mail Jennifer Yoohanna at jmyoohanna@gmail.com.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellation is only appropriate with a valid excuse 48+ hours before your ER shift or workshop.  If you are going to be late to anything you MUST call the coordinator in charge of the shift or workshop to notify them, with a valid reason for the tardiness. This is necessary because ER shifts and workshops are in high demand and if you cannot make it, someone should be able to take your place.

FALL QUARTER General Meetings

Hi all Stroke Forcers,

Welcome to the Fall Quarter! The Coordinators are very excited to have all of you guys back. This Quarter's first 2 general meetings will be on weeks 3 and 6 on Tuesdays 7-9pm. More specifically, the dates are 10/17 and 11/7. Location is TBD, but please plan accordingly.

We would like to give a special thanks to students that stayed over the summer or those who helped, even though they took the summer off. Please remember that those who took the summer off are on probation THIS QUARTER. You MUST fulfill all hours this quarter or you will be removed from the program.

In addition, if you were a new student during the summer, you MUST be ready to present by your first workshop. If not, you will be required to attend an additional presentation. You have been warned!
