FALL QUARTER General Meetings

Hi all Stroke Forcers,

Welcome to the Fall Quarter! The Coordinators are very excited to have all of you guys back. This Quarter's first 2 general meetings will be on weeks 3 and 6 on Tuesdays 7-9pm. More specifically, the dates are 10/17 and 11/7. Location is TBD, but please plan accordingly.

We would like to give a special thanks to students that stayed over the summer or those who helped, even though they took the summer off. Please remember that those who took the summer off are on probation THIS QUARTER. You MUST fulfill all hours this quarter or you will be removed from the program.

In addition, if you were a new student during the summer, you MUST be ready to present by your first workshop. If not, you will be required to attend an additional presentation. You have been warned!

Besides that, we hope you all enjoyed your summer and we can't wait to see everyone's faces :).

A 24-hour and 48-hour notice will be sent out before each presentation as a reminder. If you cannot attend a presentation that you've signed up for, a 24-hour notice is required.

Summer ER shifts and workshops

Hey Forcers! Summer Quarter has already begun! In addition to relaxing and soaking up the sun, please remember to sign up for ER shifts and workshops! Below is the ER shifts and workshops schedule for the summer. Please sign up by e-mailing Sheila at: Sheiladej@gmail.com

Remember, each quarter you are required to do at least 2 3-hour ER shifts, and 4 workshops (if you have not presented yet) and 2 workshops (if you have presented this quarter or in the past).

Also, if you cannot make your ER shift you need to give at least 24 hours advanced notice. You can do this by e-mailing Sheila at sheiladej@gmail.com AND calling the coordinator that is going to leading that shift (name in parenthesis next to date of ER shift).

*ER shifts are every Sunday from 12-3 and 3-6pm. There are 2 spots open for each shift.

Workshops:

*Workshops are only held weeks 3-10 on Tuesday from 7-9pm (except during meeting days when the workshops will be held from 6-7pm) and Sundays from 6-8pm. There is a limit of 6 students who can attend each workshop, and for the Tuesdays before general meetings (July 10, July 31, and Aug. 21) there is a limit of 3 students who can attend.
